Software/Artificial Intelligence Engineer - Graduate Development Program

Our Graduate Development Program is a three-year journey designed for recent graduates who look beyond the obvious, challenge existing processes, and are driven to automate and reinvent the way things work.

The program is structured into 4 progressive phases, each with distinct learning objectives. Tasks evolve according to your abilities and interests, ensuring the experience is as individual as you are.

From day one, you join ION on a full-time permanent contract, carry real accountability on live projects, and be paired with senior professionals who guide your development throughout the entire journey.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to the development of innovative software solutions with real market impact
• Designing, developing, and testing code across different technology stacks
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to build and ship high-impact products
• Solving complex technical problems and translating them into scalable, efficient solutions
• Iterating on your work based on feedback, performance data, and evolving requirements

Requirements

• Master's degree in a STEM discipline - obtained within the last year or currently in progress, with a strong academic record
• Programming experience in one or more of: C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, collaborative by nature, and fluent in English (B2+)
• Based in Italy or willing to relocate; non-EU candidates must hold a valid EU work permit

Gross Salary Range

33.000 - 38.000 EUR
