Job description

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager specializing in Cotton Bedding to lead our sourcing efforts across China and Southeast Asia (SEA). In this role, you'll play a key part in building and managing supplier relationships to ensure our cotton bedding products meet Quince's high standards for quality, sustainability, and cost-efficiency. If you're passionate about ethical sourcing, vendor development, and optimizing supply chains in a fast-paced DTC environment, this is your opportunity to contribute to a brand that's redefining affordable luxury.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Cotton Bedding products, focusing on China and SEA markets to identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors while maintaining relationships with existing partners.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings without compromising on quality, sustainability, or ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with design, product development, and operations teams to manage product programs, from fabric/yarn selection to final production, ensuring timelines and specifications are met.
  • Conduct market research on trends in Cotton materials and sustainable practices to inform sourcing decisions.
  • Oversee quality control processes, including factory audits, compliance checks for environmental and labor standards, and risk management in the supply chain.
  • Monitor production output, resolve issues related to procurement, and optimize inventory to minimize waste and support our direct-shipping model.
  • Travel to supplier sites in CN/SEA as needed to build strong partnerships and ensure alignment with Quince's values of transparency and responsibility.
  • Analyze supplier performance metrics and provide reports to senior leadership on cost efficiencies, sustainability impacts, and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

  • 7-15 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, with a strong focus on Cotton Bedding products.
  • Proven track record in vendor development, negotiation, and managing international supply chains, particularly in CN/SEA regions.
  • Deep knowledge of textile materials, manufacturing processes, and sustainability practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Textile Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., in sustainable sourcing) are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and building global relationships.
  • Strong analytical abilities, with proficiency in tools like Excel, ERP systems, or supply chain software.
  • Ability to travel internationally (up to 30%) and adapt to a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
  • Passion for Quince's mission: making high-quality, sustainable products accessible and affordable.

We Offer

  • Be part of a mission-driven team reshaping retail.
  • Work alongside talented colleagues, tackle meaningful challenges, and contribute to building a more sustainable, accessible future for customers and partners alike.
