About the Position
We are a young start-up company based in Kiev, Ukraine, building a next-generation B2B platform with exciting features. Our highly skilled development team, which we call a “family,” has created a good, reliable, clean, and unique system from scratch. We are now looking for a Sr. Back-end Developer to join our team in Zagreb, Croatia.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases
- Understand fundamental design principles behind scalable applications
- Apply solid understanding of object-oriented programming
- Develop using PHP and Laravel 8
- Design REST APIs and apply SOLID principles
- Utilize Jira for project management
- Work with in-memory databases such as Redis and Elasticsearch
- Stay updated with new trends and best practices in web development
Requirements
- Good working knowledge in design and query optimization of PostgreSQL databases
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
- English language proficiency
- Experience with PHP, Laravel 8
- Proficiency in designing REST APIs and applying SOLID principles
- Experience with Jira
- Experience with in-memory databases such as Redis, Elasticsearch
- Ability to keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development
