Sr. Officer / Assistant Manager – Environment Social Governance (Sustainability)

About the Position

We are seeking a Sr. Officer / Assistant Manager – Environment Social Governance (Sustainability) to join our dynamic team. The role is pivotal in conducting capacity building workshops, collecting data, and assisting our Sustainability, ESG team in evaluating, monitoring, reporting, and ensuring assurance readiness.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting capacity building workshops, trainings on ESG metrics, gap analysis, data collection, policy development as per national, international guidelines and regulations.
• Assist in calculating, verifying carbon footprint, water footprint, energy footprint, and identifying probable opportunities for reducing the environmental impact, report social impact, LCA (Life cycle assessment) studies, ESG due diligence, etc.
• Aggregate findings and recommendations into reports, presentations, dashboards, and contribute to formulating and distilling deep insightful takeaways for the clients.
• Handhold clients in identifying materiality areas and develop a sustainability roadmap to achieve long-term goals towards net zero, water positivity.
• Collect data, case studies, and statements, prepare sustainability report, integrated report for the client as per national, global guidelines, and make them ready for the external assurance.
• Support business development efforts by identifying potential clients, preparing proposals, and participating in client presentations.

Requirements

• Preferred Qualification: Graduate with professional qualification in Sustainability, ESG, EHS.
• Experience: 2-4 years in sustainability, ESG reporting, and related fields.
• Other Competencies: Self-motivated, innovative, capable of handling stress, willingness to travel, and meet deadlines.
