About the Position
As a Sr Sales Operations Analyst, Salesforce Administrator at Altium, a part of the Renesas Group, you'll be a key player on a team dedicated to continuous improvement and enhancement of our Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Salesforce's architecture and capabilities, with the ability to align technical solutions with our evolving business goals. This role requires collaboration across departments to gather requirements and translate them into scalable user-friendly solutions. Excellent communication skills are essential, you should be comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels and explaining complex technical concepts in a clear, relatable way.
In addition to configuration and support responsibilities, you'll help shape our Salesforce governance and change management practices to ensure a stable and effective platform.
Responsibilities
- All aspects of User and License Management including new user setup/deactivation, Roles, Profiles, Permissions, Public Groups, Organization-Wide Defaults, & Sharing rules
- Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Process Builder, Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports
- Data Governance, Change Management, & Data Policies
- Perform ongoing data cleansing, deduplication, and normalization within Salesforce (Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Tasks, etc)
- Conduct regular data audits and recommend improvements to the overall structures and data model
- Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience
- Monitor user adoption and drive improvements through training, enablement, and platform enhancements
- New user and ongoing user training
- Create and maintain Salesforce technical documentation
- Identify unused or underutilized platform features, connected apps and, apex
- Work with integrated applications including Ringlead, NetSuite, DocuSign, Boomi and more
Requirements
- Has a proactive attitude to platform enhancements
- Has excellent relationship-building skills
- Has the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
- Is available and responsive to questions and feedback
- Works collaboratively as a team but can also work independently
- Is active in the Salesforce community
- Demonstrates continued personal/professional development
- Understands Salesforce Revenue Cloud functionality and relationships
- Has a strong background designing Flows
- Strong Salesforce product knowledge and at least 3-5 years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience with Sales or Service Cloud
- Strong Salesforce Revenue Cloud knowledge and at least 1-2 years of hands-on experience administering CPQ
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce automation tools, including Flow
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Familiarity with Salesforce governance and change management best practices
- Salesforce Administrator Certification required; additional certifications (e.g., Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, CPQ Specialist) are a plus
- Bachelor's Degree
