Job Summary

This role focuses on planning and executing functional analysis and testing for LS R and D verification validation and laboratory informatics platforms including Empower Labvantage Labware and Labware ELN. The senior functional analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, high-quality solutions that support hybrid work models and day shifts while improving scientific productivity and supply chain efficiency.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with R and D stakeholders to analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications for LS R and D verification validation and laboratory informatics solutions including Empower Labvantage Labware and Labware ELN.
  • Design and execute end-to-end functional test strategies for LS R and D verification validation solutions by defining test objectives, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate functional testing cycles for Empower Labvantage Labware and Labware ELN systems by preparing test data, executing test scripts, and documenting test evidence.
  • Review and validate laboratory and manufacturing process maps with business teams by identifying gaps, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and manufacturing domain experts to assess the impact of laboratory system enhancements on downstream processes.
  • Analyze production incidents and defects in Empower Labvantage Labware and Labware ELN platforms by performing root cause analysis, proposing corrective actions, and validating fixes.
  • Prepare comprehensive functional documentation including user requirements, functional specifications, and validation summary reports.
  • Engage with cross-functional global teams in a hybrid model to clarify requirements, provide system demonstrations, and support user acceptance testing.
  • Optimize test coverage for LS R and D verification validation initiatives by selecting appropriate functional test techniques and using reusable test assets.
  • Support configuration and functional setup of Labware and Labware ELN modules by validating workflows, forms, calculations, and integrations.
  • Provide guidance to junior analysts and testers on best practices in functional testing and verification validation in laboratory informatics.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing functional test metrics and recommending enhancements to laboratory systems.
  • Communicate clear functional insights to product owners and technical teams by summarizing test results, risk assessments, and recommended actions.
