Staff Digital Media Manager (f/m/d) Programmatic & Social

About the Position

IONOS is seeking a Staff Digital Media Manager (f/m/d) Programmatic & Social to oversee programmatic video, Connected TV (CTV), and paid social for brand campaigns across multiple brands and markets. You will shape programmatic video, CTV, and paid social for our brand campaigns across several brands and markets, and make them faster and better with AI workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own programmatic video, CTV, online video, and paid social for our brand campaigns across several brands and markets, from channel strategy and setup to ongoing optimization.
• Develop budget and channel planning for your channels, including performance forecasts, and feed your recommendations into the overall media plan.
• Negotiate and manage deals with streaming publishers and sales houses, e.g., private marketplaces, programmatic guaranteed, and direct deals.
• Set standards for tracking, taxonomy, and testing in your channels, such as brand lift and creative tests, and ensure all markets follow them.
• Build and run AI-powered workflows for setup, reporting, and optimization, from first idea to day-to-day operation.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in digital media management, agency, or advertiser side, with a focus on programmatic video, CTV, or online video.
• Solid hands-on experience with Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs) such as DV360 or The Trade Desk, with Campaign Manager 360 (CM360) and ad servers, and with paid social video on Meta, YouTube, and TikTok.
• Deep understanding of video inventory, auction mechanics, deal types, and CTV specifics such as frequency capping and viewability.
• Experience in independent budget and channel planning across several markets, including forecasting and reporting with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Looker or Tableau.
• Experience in building your own automations with AI tools that run in day-to-day work and can show examples.
• Very good German, because you’ll negotiate and manage deals with German publishers and sales houses, and very good English, which is our everyday language for working with teams across brands and markets.
