Strong Junior Automation QA Engineer

Bitmedia Labs is an international product company founded in 2014. Today, we’re a team of 150+ specialists working globally, building products used by millions worldwide. Our work spans two core areas: Game Development – browser-first games for global audiences, centered on reward-driven progression and long-term engagement. Digital Advertising – high-performance advertising and affiliate platforms across Web2 and Web3 markets.

We are looking for a Strong Junior Automation QA Engineer to join our QA Team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated tests;
• Design, implement, and execute automated test cases to verify functionality of web applications;
• Identify, prioritize, and report defects found during testing;
• Continuously improve automation test cases.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in test automation for web-based applications;
• Proficiency in JavaScript (variables, functions, async/await, promises, ES6+ syntax);
• Practical experience with Playwright;
• Strong knowledge of the stack of web technologies like HTTP, JSON, REST;
• Solid understanding of QA fundamentals;
• Understanding of the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern and ability to structure test code accordingly;
• Experience with Git (clone, commit, push, pull, branching);
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins);
• Basic knowledge of writing reliable locators (CSS selectors, XPath basics);
• Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset;
• Excellent communication skills and a sense of responsibility.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker;
• Experience with MongoDB;
• Familiarity with performance testing basics.
