System Analyst

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior System Analyst with expertise in iOS and Android mobile applications to join our Engineering team. This role is fully remote.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements for iOS and Android mobile applications.
• Conduct thorough analysis of business needs to understand and define system requirements.
• Design and create system specifications, architecture diagrams, and data models for mobile applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure the feasibility and efficiency of the proposed solutions.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation including functional specifications, user stories, and use cases.
• Document system workflows and processes for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Work closely with QA teams to develop test cases based on the system requirements.
• Assist in the testing phase, providing guidance to QA engineers and ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring everyone has a clear understanding of the requirements and objectives.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and project managers.
• Analyze and resolve technical and non-technical challenges that arise during the development process.
• Provide innovative solutions to address complex business problems related to mobile application development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a System Analyst, preferably in the development of iOS and Android mobile applications.
• In-depth knowledge of iOS and Android platforms, their respective guidelines, and development best practices.
• Proficiency in system analysis tools, techniques, and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in creating technical documentation, including specifications, workflows, and diagrams.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with mobile application security principles is a plus.
• Experience with mobile app development frameworks and languages (e.g., Swift, Kotlin).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services integration in mobile applications.
• Familiarity with mobile app analytics and performance optimization tools.
• Certification in system analysis or related field is a plus.
