Responsibilities
As a Systems Administrator on the P-8A Poseidon team, you will:
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure components.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
- Carry out patching and system hardening.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose software and hardware issues.
- Document and track system configuration.
- Assist in the design of new solutions.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.)
- Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (CISCO, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of cyber security frameworks.
