About the Position
Team Lead Game Art
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Lead Game Art to join our fast-growing team. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a multicultural team of top professionals in a dynamic environment. The position is remote and available in Armenia, Cyprus, Kazakhstan, Poland, and Ukraine.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing game concepts, UI designs, illustrations, animations, and other game assets.
- Ensuring game visuals comply with quality standards and technical requirements.
- Presenting game concepts and visual solutions to stakeholders.
- Supervising the development of visual concepts and animations.
- Organizing and maintaining a clear, structured workflow.
- Improving and scaling the game art production pipeline.
- Generating ideas for enhancing game visuals and user experience.
- Researching and analyzing game art trends and competitors.
- Collaborating with team members, project managers, product managers, and developers.
- Distributing tasks within the team based on priorities and expertise.
- Estimating art production timelines and supporting project planning.
- Providing regular reports on the Game Art team's performance.
- Providing clear feedback and conducting regular art reviews.
- Mentoring team members and supporting their professional development.
- Participating in hiring and interviewing new team members.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Game Development, including 1+ year in a leadership position.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in games development.
- Strong knowledge of composition, color theory, typography, visual hierarchy, and user-centered design principles.
- Deep understanding of the game development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and solid understanding of Spine animation.
- Experience with AI-powered design tools and workflow automation.
- Strong understanding of technical requirements for game assets.
- Experience planning workloads, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business priorities.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the iGaming industry.
- Knowledge of game visuals compliance and visual consistency.
- Experience in optimizing the game art production pipeline.
- Experience in researching game art trends and competitors.
- Experience in collaboration, task distribution, and mentoring.
- Experience in estimating art production timelines and providing performance reports.
