Team Lead Software Development (all genders)

meteocontrol GmbH is seeking a Team Lead Software Development to lead a software team in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Join us to drive the future of renewable energies.

Responsibilities

• Lead a software team developing the SCADA system
• Plan and coordinate software development activities
• Collaborate closely with Product Management and Quality Assurance
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software aligned with product roadmap
• Guide the team through the software development process (IEC 62443-4-1)
• Support the team in solving technical challenges
• Develop the team and foster both technical and personal growth
• Conduct feedback meetings
• Participate in the recruitment process

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a team lead
• 3+ years in (embedded) software development
• Strong software development background
• Experience in agile software development
• Leadership and mentoring experience
• Strong communication skills
• Hands-on in industrial cybersecurity

Nice to Have

• Experience with SCADA
• Knowledge in developing industrial software
