About the Position

Team Leader (VoIP)

Join our fast-growing business group as a Team Leader (VoIP) in a multicultural team. Lead and manage a team of VoIP professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Development, support, and maintenance of the VoIP infrastructure
  • Planning and expansion of VoIP infrastructure
  • Ensuring stable operation of VoIP infrastructure and other systems (CRM, etc)
  • Improving current and implementing new VoIP infrastructure automation processes
  • Active involvement in the development of speech recognition systems and automated customer calling systems
  • Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of relevant projects
  • Leading and motivating VoIP team
  • Set and monitor the team’s goal
  • Removing technical and organizational impediments to ensure smooth team delivery
  • Ensuring that the Team adheres to the company’s practices, rules, and procedures
  • Troubleshooting and proactive prevention of VoIP infrastructure incidents

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of managing a team of 4+ people
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Flexible mindset, business goals orientation
  • Ability to effectively organize the process in stressful situations
  • Ability to utilize delivery metrics to improve team predictability and efficiency
  • Experience in driving architectural discussions and ensuring high standards of the product being developed
  • At least 5 years of background working with Asterisk
  • Expert-level Dial-Plan coding
  • Deep integration experience with AMI/ARI
  • Practical knowledge of Asterisk Realtime Architecture (ARA)
  • Advanced knowledge of the SIP, RTP/SRTP, STUN, ICE, and WebRTC protocols
  • Expert knowledge of the SIP protocol, purpose, and sequence of packets, and ability to debug it
  • Proficiency in querying and optimizing MySQL/PostgreSQL databases
  • Experience in designing scalable and high-availability VoIP architectures
  • Experience with VoIP monitoring and alerting (Homer, Prometheus)
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Solid experience with Ansible, Terraform to automate Asterisk deployment and configuration management
  • Strong experience with Linux systems (CentOS/Debian)
  • Deep understanding of network features, specifically NAT traversal, Firewalls, and QoS

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Bash/Python/PHP/Perl scripting
  • Experience in creating reports for contact center analytics
  • Experience with Enterprise solutions for contact centers (UCCE/UCCX/Genesys etc.)
  • Participation in the development of automatic dialing systems
