About the Role

As a Technical Project Lead – AI Modernization & Enterprise Transformation, you will make an impact by leading large-scale technology transformation initiatives that modernize legacy platforms, accelerate software delivery through Gen AI and Agentic AI, and drive business value across healthcare payer and regulated enterprise environments. You will be a valued member of our technology leadership team, collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, and delivery stakeholders to deliver innovative, secure, and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end technical delivery of complex enterprise programs spanning legacy mainframe systems, distributed platforms, cloud modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Drive adoption of Gen AI and Agentic AI solutions across the software development lifecycle, including AI-assisted development, code modernization, developer productivity, and automation initiatives.
  • Architect and guide the implementation of event-driven and transaction-based systems, real-time data streaming solutions, and enterprise integration platforms.
  • Partner with client stakeholders, program sponsors, and technology teams to align technical solutions with business goals, quality standards, and strategic objectives.
  • Manage cross-functional, geographically distributed teams through planning, execution, risk management, resource forecasting, budgeting, and successful delivery outcomes.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on expertise in mainframe technologies including COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, and VSAM, combined with experience working with modern distributed and cloud-based platforms.
  • Proven experience implementing Gen AI and Agentic AI solutions using tools such as GitHub Copilot, IBM WatsonX, Claude, GPT/OpenAI, or similar technologies within enterprise delivery environments.
  • Experience designing and supporting enterprise integration solutions using middleware technologies such as IBM IIB, APIC, WebSphere MQ, and z/OS Connect.
  • Working knowledge of cloud and data technologies including Kafka, Azure, PySpark, Power BI, and large-scale data transformation solutions.
  • Domain expertise within US healthcare payer operations, including claims adjudication, provider networks, payments processing, regulatory compliance, and data privacy requirements, or equivalent experience within a highly regulated financial services environment.
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies and enterprise delivery tools such as GitHub, JIRA, ServiceNow, IBM RTC, and Tableau.
  • Demonstrated success leading multi-vendor, cross-functional teams while managing budgets, resource planning, delivery risks, and governance activities.

Nice to Have

  • Experience building custom AI agents, autonomous developer tools, or Model Context Protocol (MCP)-based solutions that enhance engineering productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Knowledge of healthcare payer modernization initiatives, including claims processing transformation, payment modernization, and HIPAA/PHI compliance requirements.
  • Experience with blockchain technologies or other emerging technologies supporting payments, claims, or enterprise modernization.
  • Strong background in vulnerability remediation, application security programs, and AI-assisted security automation.
  • AHIP certification or other healthcare industry credentials.
  • Recognition for technology innovation, delivery excellence, hackathon participation, or enterprise transformation initiatives.
