About the Position

Technical Support 1st Level (all genders)

meteocontrol GmbH, a leading developer of independent energy management systems, is seeking a Technical Support 1st Level professional to join our team in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for our customers via telephone and email.
• Handle basic customer inquiries regarding the configuration and operation of our monitoring portal, commissioning and parameterisation of data loggers/park controllers, and other product-related issues.
• Record unresolved customer processes and forward them to our 2nd level support.
• Collaborate with the development department to perform error analyses and develop solutions.
• Provide technical advice to interested parties and support the sales department in preparing quotations.
• Ensure timely communication with customers in case of delays or problems.

Requirements

• Completed technical degree in energy or communication electronics, or comparable experience.
• Experience in renewable energies is advantageous.
• Very good knowledge of German, English, and Romanian.
• Knowledge of network technology/ModBus is advantageous.
• Demonstrated good IT skills.
