Technology Architect

Job Summary
We are seeking a Technology Architect specializing in Salesforce-based solutions for financial services clients focusing on SFDC development, customization, configuration, integration, Lightning, and nCino. Design scalable hybrid model architectures that enhance core banking and finance processes, ensure robust data integrity, and deliver reliable day-shift support for complex enterprise ecosystems without travel requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end Salesforce and nCino solution architectures that align with enterprise banking and financial process standards while ensuring scalability, security, and long-term sustainability of platforms.
- Provide detailed technical guidance on SFDC development and customization to enable robust feature implementation that supports complex finance workflows and regulatory compliance.
- Drive optimization of SFDC configuration across objects, workflows, approvals, and automation to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention for finance and accounting teams.
- Lead design and implementation of SFDC Lightning components and modern user experiences that streamline daily tasks for business users and enable intuitive access to critical financial data.
- Execute integration strategies between SFDC platforms and external core banking or finance systems to ensure accurate data synchronization and high integrity information flows across the enterprise.
- Oversee technical impact analysis and solution design reviews for new business requirements to confirm that changes are aligned with architectural principles and do not compromise system stability.
- Collaborate closely with finance and accounting stakeholders to translate domain requirements into well-structured Salesforce and nCino capabilities that directly support key financial reporting and lending processes.
- Guide teams on best practices for code quality, configuration management, and environment governance to maintain reliable deployments and reduce production incidents in hybrid work settings.
- Develop reusable architectural patterns, integration templates, and design standards that accelerate delivery of new features while maintaining consistent quality across multiple Salesforce implementations.
- Support performance tuning and scalability improvements for SFDC and nCino applications to handle growing transaction volumes and complex financial products without degradation in user experience.
- Coordinate with information security and compliance teams to embed regulatory controls, audit readiness, and secure data handling into every architectural decision impacting financial information.
- Provide day-shift technical oversight and issue resolution for critical incidents in Salesforce ecosystems ensuring minimal service disruption and timely restoration of business operations.
- Document architectural decisions, solution blueprints, and technical roadmaps that help stakeholders understand system evolution and guide future investments in cloud-based financial platforms.
Requirements
- Possess extensive hands-on experience in SFDC development and customization using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning capabilities to deliver complex enterprise-grade solutions.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in configuring SFDC objects, workflows, validation rules, and automation features that support structured finance and accounting processes.
- Show deep practical knowledge of SFDC Lightning design patterns and component-based development that enables responsive and user-friendly interfaces for business users.
- Exhibit solid expertise in SFDC integration approaches, including APIs and middleware-based connectivity to seamlessly link Salesforce with core banking and financial systems.
- Bring proven experience with nCino implementations that support lending, onboarding, and other financial product workflows within regulated environments.
- Apply good understanding of finance and accounting concepts to design Salesforce solutions that accurately reflect financial transactions, controls, and reporting requirements.
- Operate effectively in a hybrid work model using collaborative tools and clear communication to coordinate with distributed technical and business stakeholders.
Certifications Required
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect
- Salesforce Platform Developer certification (preferred)
- nCino technical certification (desirable)
