About the Role and Mission

You will be responsible for leading engineering in multiple squads of the Personal and Mortgage Credit tribes, ensuring the execution of the roadmap with predictability, quality, and high operational reliability in a regulated and critical domain for the client and bank operations.

The core challenge goes beyond "delivering features": it is about delivering with stability, conducting relevant modernizations without downtime, evolving the digital customer experience (including AI in document flows), and coordinating dependencies with a broad ecosystem and suppliers.

Daily Responsibilities

• Lead multiple squads with distinct cadences;
• Ensure the execution of the Personal and Mortgage Credit roadmap and business priorities;
• Review and conduct bi-weekly planning, ensuring delivery predictability, capacity management, and dependencies between squads and adjacent products;
• Act as a bridge between technology and business, with strong partnership with Product Owners, Credit Operations, and Risk/Compliance areas;
• Develop and retain talent (1:1s, feedback, career plans, hiring), elevating the team's seniority and technical standard;
• Ensure architecture, quality, security, and code governance standards;
• Sponsor cross-functional initiatives for performance, modernization, and new products;
• Be the escalation point and "owner" in production incidents, leading war rooms when necessary;
• Monitor SLIs/SLOs, technical debt, vulnerabilities, and conduct post-mortems with action plans;
• Manage relationships and deliveries with critical suppliers and act on operational risk mitigation;
• Represent the area in architecture forums, capacity planning, and investment decisions.

What We Are Looking For

• Solid experience in engineering leadership and people management, including development, feedback, 1:1s, and talent retention;
• Experience leading multiple squads/teams and coordinating dependencies between fronts with different priorities;
• Profile as a bridge between business and technology: clear communication, ability to translate complexity, and conduct technical discussions with critical thinking;
• Strong results orientation and operational excellence, balancing product evolution with stability and reliability;
• Systemic vision to act in architectures with long chains and integrations;
• Ability to prioritize, negotiate, and influence stakeholders.
