Temenos - Infrastructure Lead

About the Position

We are seeking a Temenos Infrastructure Lead with strong experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines and containerization for our Bengaluru, India team. The role involves working closely with development, QA, security, and operations teams to ensure reliable, secure, and observable software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools and best practices.
• Manage and optimize source code repositories (Git), including branching and merge strategies (GitFlow, trunk-based, etc.).
• Configure and maintain build and dependency management using Maven (or similar tools).
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell, Groovy, and Python for build, deployment, and operational tasks.
• Implement and support observability solutions using Prometheus, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and OpenTelemetry.
• Collaborate with release management teams to plan, coordinate, and execute application releases across environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in build, deployment, and production environments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of release processes, toolchains, and operational runbooks.

Requirements

• Must have

  • 6–9 years of experience in Application Support, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Middleware Administration, preferably in Banking/Financial Services.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum delivery environment.
  • Strong experience in Azure DevOps (ADO), CI/CD Pipelines, Release Management, and Ansible Playbook Automation.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Kubernetes including:
    • Deployments, Services, Ingress
    • Helm Charts
    • PVC/Persistent Storage
    • RBAC & Namespace Management
    • Pod Affinity/Anti-Affinity
    • Container & Platform Troubleshooting
  • Strong proficiency in JBoss/WildFly Administration, deployment management, datasource configuration, JVM tuning, and issue troubleshooting.
  • Good knowledge of Unix/Linux Administration and Shell Scripting.
  • Working knowledge of Temenos T24/TAFJ architecture, environment setup, deployment, COB support, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in Vulnerability Management & Security Patching across Linux, JBoss, Container Images, and Enterprise Applications. Knowledge of vulnerability remediation.
  • Strong understanding of Cloud, Infrastructure, Networking, Storage, High Availability, Resilience, and Production Support models.
  • Experience with ITSM tools such as BMC Remedy/ServiceNow for Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, stakeholder management, and multitasking skills.
