Temporary Operations Coordinator, Best Product Awards

About the Position

Forbes Vetted is seeking a qualified candidate to assist with operations support for the 2027 Forbes Vetted Best Product Awards. Working in close collaboration with the senior special projects editor, managing editor, and our team of editors and writers, the lists coordinator will be responsible for supporting the logistics for the Forbes Vetted Best Product Awards (to launch in March 2027) as well as other lists in our consumer product accolades program.

This is a part-time (up to 25 hours per week) and seasonal role that will begin in November 2026 and end in March 2027. This is a hybrid role that will require availability for some in-person work at the Forbes office in Jersey City as well as photo shoots which will be located in the NY/NJ area.

Responsibilities

• Requesting product samples, purchasing products, ordering supplies, and coordinating assembly for testers
• Facilitating product delivery to both testers and photo shoot locations as well as coordinating pickups
• Assisting with photo shoot product coordination
• Updating trackers and project management documents
• Coordinating communication with testers and collating product feedback
• Assisting with other editorial tasks as needed

Requirements

• Has at least 1 year of prior relevant experience (including internships), preferably in the consumer products space
• Has administrative experience, preferably in the editorial sector; experience working on similar consumer-product awards programs or comparable work coordinating samples for review or photo shoots a major plus
• Has experience with project management tools like Monday.com or Asana
• Has strong organizational skills and knows how to take initiative to solve problems
• Has strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with remote teams; this is a highly collaborative role

We Offer

• Hourly Rate: $25.00 - $35.00
