About the Position
Transforming smiles, changing lives.
Both Orthodontists and Dentists are an integral part of our doctor-driven business. Our goal is to deliver superior clinical outcomes with an enhanced patient experience. Our continued growth and success depend on enabling dental clinics to thrive.
Your mission as a Territory Manager is to apply comprehensive knowledge of Invisalign and iTero sales strategies for key accounts to accelerate revenue and higher case volume. You will sell directly to professional business owners (Dentists and Orthodontists), transforming an analog process with clear aligners and innovative digital solutions that make straightening teeth easier, faster, and more accessible – helping practitioners grow their business and increase patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Use insights and a consultative selling approach to educate customers about their industry and customers, challenge them to modernize and grow their business, support digital technology adoption, and refine office processes.
- Achieve quarterly and annual territory sales targets.
- Manage a defined geography of accounts to grow the business and onboard new high-potential accounts.
- Develop and execute territory plans based on account potential within the assigned geography.
- Create and execute account plans for highest-potential accounts based on a deep understanding of business goals, challenges, and opportunities.
- Utilize data and analytics to support customer decision-making and drive business outcomes.
- Educate customers on Invisalign and iTero products and services to ensure clinical confidence and adoption.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Doctors, Treatment Coordinators, Clinical Assistants, Education, Marketing, and Product Development teams to understand business needs and clearly articulate the value and fit of Align products, digital platforms, and solutions.
- Orchestrate internal resources to optimize the customer experience and drive ongoing adoption and promotion of Align solutions.
- Demonstrate creativity, self-discipline, strong ownership, and a high sense of urgency while independently identifying and completing critical priorities.
- Adapt to virtual selling environments and engage customers effectively through digital channels.
- Listen to, understand, and analyze customer needs to tailor Align products and services and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience required.
- Experience may include B2B sales, medical device, medical technology, capital equipment, dental, or other relevant sales and industry experience, including inside or outside sales.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and business goals.
- Proven track record of on-target performance in medical device or medical technology sales preferred.
- Strong business and marketing acumen, with the ability to engage in business discussions including cash flow analysis, ROI, P&L, and business performance.
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to ask effective business and discovery questions.
- Valid driver’s license required and must be maintained.
