Test Automation Engineer

Our team is undertaking an ambitious program of wholesale platform renewal & product evolution underpinned by genuine digitalization. We are looking for a talented engineer to act as a technical expert for our fledgling team in Pune, India. If you are motivated to build our next-generation Post-Trade & Custody ecosystem based on services and integration in modern programming paradigms, we look forward to receiving your application.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical expert for the team in Pune, India.
• Drive modernization and reshape traditional platforms and systems.
• Work on an ambitious program of wholesale platform renewal & product evolution.

Requirements

• Must have

  • Extensive API and UI automation testing experience.
  • Hands-on experience of 8 to 10 years in both functional and automation testing.
  • Proficiency in backend, UI, and database testing.
  • Hands-on testing experience for REST / SOAP services.
  • A solid understanding of requirements analysis, test case creation, regression testing, and defect tracking.
  • Playwright Automation & Manual Testing.
  • Automation, Manual Testing & Release Management.
  • Familiarity with agile best practices.
  • Programming languages: Java.
  • Build tools: Maven or Gradle.
  • BDD testing frameworks.
  • AI-Assisted Testing:
    • Experience with AI-assisted testing tools and frameworks for test case generation and optimization.
    • Familiarity with using generative AI for:
      • Automated test case creation
      • Test script generation (UI and API)
      • Debugging and defect analysis
      • Test data generation and synthetic data creation
    • Understanding of intelligent test selection, self-healing test automation, and predictive defect detection.
    • Ability to apply AI tools responsibly to improve test coverage, speed, and quality while maintaining governance standards.

• Nice to have

  • Experience in Agile Framework
