Test Automation Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer with experience in the automotive industry and embedded software testing to join our team in Bucharest, Romania. DXC-Luxoft is an industry-leading software integrator and solution house for automotive OEMs and suppliers. We are currently supporting several German OEMs in building their next-generation battery-electric vehicle platforms.

Responsibilities

• Requirements analysis
• Test specifications and test cases creation
• Automation of test cases based on test specifications
• Ability to take ownership for the system under test and become a domain expert
• Test results analysis and evaluation
• Test preparation and execution: creation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines
• Root cause analysis
• Automated reporting

Requirements

• Must have

  • Experience in the automotive industry and embedded software testing in domains such as Diagnostics, Bluetooth, WLAN, V2X, GNSS, Network Interfaces, Power Management, Mobile Network, Antennas, Audio, Flashing
  • Strong knowledge of Python
  • Knowledge of required tooling such as Robot Framework or any other modern test automation framework, version control systems (especially Git)
  • Experience with GitHub Action runners or any other CI/CD pipelines implementations
  • Logical and analytical thinking as well as technical communication ability
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Understanding of testing methods and processes
  • Understanding of SW development lifecycle and programming concepts
  • Vector CANoe knowledge and experience

• Nice to have

  • CodeBeamer ALM, JFrog Artifactory, CANalyzer
  • Experience with VWG analysis tools such as ESO/DLT Tracer
  • Communication protocols knowledge: Eth, CAN, FlexRay, LIN
