Location: Krakow, Poland

Rate: 140-155 PLN/h + VAT

Working time: 09:00-17:00 CET

A highly motivated Test Engineer with expertise in .NET and JavaScript is sought for a pivotal role in a modernization program. The successful candidate will have a strong background in test automation, particularly in developing frameworks and integrating testing into CI/CD processes. The role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the migration of legacy applications to a cloud-native architecture while ensuring quality through effective testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the automated testing processes across the portfolio.
• Design and implement test strategies across various testing layers.
• Build and maintain E2E automation and backend integration tests.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD processes.
• Champion best practices in testing and quality assurance.
• Validate data flows and manage test data.
• Drive root-cause analysis and manage flaky tests.
• Collaborate with developers on acceptance criteria and code review.
• Support UAT coordination and document test results.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience in test automation.
• Strong coding skills in C# / .NET.
• Expertise in JavaScript / TypeScript for test automation.
• Proficient with Playwright or Selenium.
• Experience with xUnit / NUnit and Vitest / Jest.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps CI/CD integration.
• Practical SQL experience (MSSQL / Azure SQL).
• Proficient in REST API testing.
• Self-driven and able to set standards for automation.
• Good Git practices and English communication skills (B2+).

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Azure services (App Service, Azure SQL, etc.).
• Experience with Azure Data Factory and ETL validation.
• Familiarity with Power BI report testing.
• Understanding of contract testing and OpenAPI validation.
• Experience with performance testing tools like k6 / JMeter.
• Awareness of Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Knowledge of observability and monitoring solutions.
• ISTQB Advanced or relevant certifications.
