Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of backend systems using Node.js, ensuring they integrate smoothly with enterprise applications and digital platforms.
• Turn complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical plans and scalable solutions.
• Provide guidance and support to client teams, making sure solutions are practical, effective, and aligned with business goals.
• Build and maintain clean, reusable, and efficient server-side code, APIs, and services.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to deliver new features and enhancements that truly make an impact.
• Explain technical proposals and architectural decisions to clients in a clear and consultative way.
• Make security, scalability, and system resilience a priority in every decision.
• Act as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, helping everyone stay aligned on goals and strategy.
• Identify opportunities to improve architecture, reduce technical debt, and optimize performance.
• Mentor and support development teams, sharing best practices and ensuring high-quality, maintainable solutions.

Requirements

• Experience: 10–12 years of experience in digital transformation and backend development, with a proven track record of delivering end-to-end enterprise solutions.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with hands-on experience in Node.js, Express.js, and NestJS.
  • Expertise in designing RESTful APIs and GraphQL services, including authentication and security standards such as OAuth 2.0 and JWT.
  • Experience integrating databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks including Jest, Mocha, and Chai, along with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP for backend hosting and orchestration.
  • Solid understanding of architecture patterns including microservices, event-driven architecture, batch processing, and domain-driven design.
  • Experience collaborating with UI teams using React.js, Angular, or Vue.js, with an understanding of reusable UI components and design systems.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.
