Video Producer/Editor

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Video Producer/Editor with 5+ years of experience to join our team in McLean, VA. The ideal candidate will specialize in multi-camera studio and field video productions, including broadcast, online, and executive presentations.

Responsibilities

• Shoots live multi-camera studio and field video productions
• Performs off-line and on-line editing of productions
• Creates graphics and animation products using Adobe Premier, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition, Adobe Media Encoder, and similar graphics software programs
• Demonstrates strong customer interface skills, meeting with clients, assessing needs, determining resources and budgets, developing concepts/storyboarding, and carrying through to the finished product
• Is organized, thorough, with attention to detail; prepares necessary reports or maintains a log of production activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in video production, communications, engineering, math, science, or equivalent degrees
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Skilled in editing, animation/compositing, video/still shooting, and storytelling
• Experience with DSLR and cinema cameras, Canon EF lenses, and lighting
