Job Description

As a Werkstudent (m/w/d) Data Analyst, you actively contribute to further developing our Internet comparison data-driven, gaining relevant insights, and measurably improving the customer experience. We look forward to your application at the CHECK24 Vergleichsportal Telekommunikationsdienste GmbH.

Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Insights: You analyze large amounts of data together with the Data Science and Business Intelligence team using Python and SQL, identify relevant patterns, and derive concrete action recommendations for product-related questions.
Dashboard Optimization: You analyze and optimize our Business Intelligence tool Tableau and develop existing dashboards with a focus on data-based control and transparency.
AI Feature Evaluation: You test new AI-based functions before going live and evaluate their performance in the product context.
Data Sources & Automation: You take over the connection of new API data sources to our systems and develop automated evaluations and additional analytics functions based on this.
Data Preparation: Transformation, validation, and structured preparation of raw data for analyses, reports, and operational questions are part of your area of responsibility.
ETL-/ELT Processes: You actively participate in the setup and further development of our ETL and ELT processes and support the efficient and reliable provision of data flows.

Requirements

Studies: You are a registered student (m/w/d) with an economic, scientific, or information technology focus, for example, in Data Engineering, (Business) Informatics, Mathematics, or Physics.
First Practical Experience: Ideally, you have already gained experience in handling large amounts of data and Business Intelligence tools.
SQL Skills: You confidently use your SQL skills for independent queries and data analyses.
Python Experience: You have practical experience in data preparation and scripting with Python, for example, with pandas.
Analytical Understanding: A pronounced understanding of data-driven relationships and a structured approach characterize you.
Technical Basics: Knowledge of data structures and algorithms is part of your profile.
Working Method: You work independently, take responsibility for your tasks, and coordinate closely with colleagues from product and development.
Language Skills: Negotiable German and English skills (level C1/C2) in speech and writing round off your profile.
