About the Position

We are seeking a Junior Data Scientist specializing in Generative AI for Mietwagen International Travel in Munich. Join our team to develop innovative AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI solutions using Generative AI and LLMs.
• Translate new technologies into concrete solutions for our customers.
• Develop and maintain clean, maintainable code using Python.
• Integrate applications with Docker and Cloud Technologies like Azure or AWS.
• Work with databases, monitoring, and ensure reliable operation of productive applications.
• Quickly structure complex problem statements and evaluate different technical solutions.
• Work at the interface between product and IT, sharing experiences and best practices with other data scientists.

Requirements

• Drive and AI-Mindset: Passion for Generative AI and LLMs, keeping up with current developments.
• Education: Excellent degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable analytical-technical discipline.
• Practical LLM Experience: Experience in developing LLM applications in academic, private, or professional projects.
• Strong Programming Skills: Excellent Python skills and experience with Git, APIs, and integrating existing systems.
• Production and Cloud Understanding: Experience with Docker and cloud technologies like Azure or AWS, and knowledge of databases, monitoring, and reliable operation of productive applications.
• Smart Problem Solving: Ability to quickly structure complex problems, evaluate different technical solutions, and decide pragmatically on the best approach.
• Interdisciplinary Mindset: Enjoy working at the intersection of product and IT, actively seeking exchanges with other data scientists to share experiences, new technologies, and best practices.
• Language Skills: Fluent German and good English skills in speech and writing.
