Responsibilities

• Provide support with hardware, software, accounts, and access rights, for example when setting up laptops, workstations, and user accounts.
• Be part of our global 1st and 2nd level IT support team and the first point of contact for our customers, whether via ticket, chat, or in person on site.
• Log enquiries, analyze technical issues, and either resolve them yourself or escalate them in a structured manner to the relevant experts.
• Act as the link between business and IT, understanding the needs of the specialist departments, translating their requirements into technical solutions, and explaining IT topics in a clear and accessible way.
• Work with Jira Service Management and Confluence on a daily basis, document solutions, and gain practical experience of modern IT service management.
• Gain real insights into cloud infrastructure, AI-supported workflows, and asset management.

Requirements

• Enrolled for at least twelve months on a technical degree program, e.g., Computer Science, at a university or university of applied sciences (proof of enrollment required).
• High level of self-organization, the ability to set priorities independently, and a good sense of when to ask for clarification.
• Enjoys interacting with people, is helpful, and maintains a friendly manner even in hectic situations.
• Ability to explain technical topics in a simple and understandable way, as well as an understanding of users’ needs.
• Interest in AI and motivation to try out AI tools in day-to-day work.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other Atlassian tools is an advantage, but not essential.
• Good written and spoken German and a solid command of written and spoken English.
• A structured and dynamic approach to work with an eye for detail, even when juggling multiple tasks.
