About the Position

Truman Legal, a part of the largest Ukrainian communications company Truman, is seeking a lawyer (attorney) to join our team in Ukraine. You will be working on complex and sensitive projects with a team of leading specialists with experience in business and government positions.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of procedural documents (claims, responses, objections, appeals and cassation complaints, procedural requests), as well as legal memoranda, legal opinions, claims, and other legal documents.
• Representation of clients in commercial, administrative, and civil disputes, participation in court sessions.
• Analysis of legislation, court practice, and evidence base, preparation of legal opinions and legal positions.
• Participation in the development of procedural strategy and preparation of cases for trial.
• Collection, analysis, and systematization of evidence, interaction with clients on the formation of the evidence base.
• Participation in projects in the field of competition, corporate, and tax law, including concentrations, antitrust investigations, corporate disputes, and M&A.
• Participation in legal due diligence and preparation of analytical materials.
• Interaction with courts, government agencies, notaries, state registrars, and other participants in judicial and advisory projects.

Requirements

• Education: Higher legal education.
• Experience: At least 3 years in a law firm, in-house, or government sector.
• Possession of a lawyer's certificate.
• Thorough knowledge of procedural law and understanding of the basics of competition, corporate law.
• Experience in court representation in commercial, administrative, or civil disputes.
• Skills in preparing procedural documents and legal opinions.
• Experience in contract work (preparation, analysis, and support of contract execution).
• Experience in the formation of legal positions and development of defense strategies.
• Will be a plus: understanding of MilTech specifics; knowledge of corporate and tax law; experience in supporting concentrations and M&A transactions.
• Proficient written Ukrainian. English language – level B2/C1.

• Work format - full-time.
• Hybrid work schedule: 4 days in the office and 1 remotely. With the possibility of working remotely (with a fixed place in the office and the ability to visit the office every day).
• Flexible schedule within business hours (approximately 10:00–18:00), without strict time constraints for the start and end of work.
