This is the Job

We are looking for a Senior Data Streaming Engineer with strong experience in Apache Flink, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems to join our engineering team.

You will work on building and improving scalable real-time streaming solutions, optimizing platform performance, and ensuring reliability and data quality in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain real-time streaming pipelines using Apache Flink.
• Design scalable and low-latency streaming architectures.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and observability of streaming applications.
• Ensure data quality and fault tolerance across production systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the streaming platform.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Apache Flink
• Solid understanding of event-driven architectures and distributed systems.
• Experience with Kafka and real-time data streaming platforms.
• Good knowledge of: Event time processing, Watermarks, Checkpoints and save points, Stateful processing, Exactly-once semantics, Fault tolerance.
• Experience with monitoring and production-grade observability.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset.
• Professional proficiency in Portuguese language is mandatory.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud-native technologies and containerized environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Agile environments.
