About the Position

We are seeking a Financial Analyst specializing in renewable energy for a growing company in Warsaw, focusing on financial modeling and investment analysis.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to develop in the field of financial modeling, project finance, and investment analysis, working closely with the business and having a real impact on the evaluation and financing of energy projects.

One of the interesting areas will also be the development of models for hybrid projects, combining various renewable energy technologies within a single investment.

Responsibilities

Creating, developing, and updating financial models for renewable energy projects, including photovoltaic farms, wind projects, energy storage, and hybrid solutions;
Creating financial models in project finance format, taking into account the requirements of banks, investors, and other financial institutions;
Modeling project cash flows and analyzing key parameters affecting their profitability;
Preparing scenario analyses and sensitivity analyses to support the evaluation of different investment and financing options;
Economic analysis of energy production assumptions and technical parameters of PV, wind, and energy storage projects;
Building revenue forecasts including energy sales, PPA contracts, support systems, guarantees of origin, and potential revenue sources from energy storage;
Modeling debt financing structures;
Active participation in due diligence, financing, and potential acquisition transactions;
Supporting the valuation process of renewable energy projects, identifying key financial risks, and assessing their impact on the rate of return.

Requirements

Professional experience related to financial analysis, financial modeling, project finance, corporate finance, M&A, investment project transactions, or financing;
Previous experience in the renewable energy, energy, real estate, or infrastructure sector;
Very good knowledge of MS Excel and practical experience with advanced financial models;
Ability to independently create or develop cash flow models and conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses;
Good understanding of investment appraisal issues;
Knowledge of debt financing principles;
Fluency in English, allowing for daily cooperation with a foreign supervisor and working with English documentation (minimum B2).
