Associate Principal, Payer Partnerships

Headway is on a mission to revolutionize mental healthcare by building a system that everyone can access. We're looking for an Associate Principal, Payer Partnerships to join our team and expand our footprint by developing strategic partnerships with national health plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen senior-level relationships with commercial leadership at our health plan partner.
• Understand patient acquisition channels and form a point of view on strategic engagement.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to inform product and operations strategy.
• Drive strategic initiatives to deepen partnerships and expand Headway's role.
• Document your approach to ensure scalability across other accounts.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in the healthcare space, preferably in Business Development or Strategic Partnerships.
• Proven track record of building meaningful relationships in complex organizations.
• Experience in the commercial side of healthcare, ideally with payer or employer channel exposure.
• Proactive in identifying the right questions and forming a point of view when the path forward is unclear.
• Operationally excellent with the ability to manage multiple high-impact customers and large volumes of tasks.
