About the Role

We are seeking a Bilanzbuchhalter to join our team in Berlin, Dresden, Frankfurt am Main, Hamburg, Leipzig, München, Nürnberg, or Stuttgart. You will manage accounting and closing processes, including financial accounting, account reconciliations, and preparing financial statements.

Responsibilities

Manage Accounting Processes: You will take on independent tasks throughout the entire accounting and closing process, from ongoing financial accounting to account reconciliations and the preparation of financial statements according to HGB, IFRS, or US-GAAP, depending on your expertise and the specific mandates.
Client Management: You will holistically manage selected mandates or companies and act as the technical contact person for balance sheet-related questions, inquiries, and reconciliations.
Career Development: Your role will evolve within the job, with opportunities for increasing technical depth, more complex closings, new topics, or special tasks and projects, such as in process optimization or digitalization.
Team Collaboration: You will work in a diverse mandate environment and benefit from technical exchanges across team and location boundaries, while maintaining the closeness of a personal, stable team.

Requirements

Education: Completed training as a tax assistant or a comparable commercial education with further education as a Bilanzbuchhalter.
Experience: Practical experience in financial accounting and the preparation of financial statements, ideally from companies subject to accounting obligations.
Languages: Good command of German and English.
Skills: Enjoyment of service-oriented work in an international environment and a high degree of team and communication skills.
