About the Position

We are seeking a Strategic Projects & Performance Manager to oversee strategic projects and performance management at Mazars in Berlin.

Responsibilities

• Strategically manage projects from conception to measurable results, ensuring the consistent implementation of agreed measures and milestones.
• Develop and manage KPI and reporting structures, evaluate the economic efficiency of strategic initiatives, and make financial impacts and budgets transparent using your analytical expertise.
• Create business cases, scenario analyses, and well-founded decision templates for the CFO and Management Board, translating complex analyses into clear action recommendations.
• Independently structure new and challenging issues, identify needs for action, and develop pragmatic solutions, driving them to successful completion with consistent implementation strength.
• Represent your topics confidently in discussions with the CFO, Management Board, and Service Line and Sector management, mediate different interests, and create the basis for economically sound decisions.

Requirements

• Completed degree, e.g., Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification, combined with several years of experience in strategic projects, performance management, consulting, or controlling.
• Proven expertise in business cases, KPI management, reporting, and scenario analyses, as well as a strong understanding of budgets, economic efficiency, and financial relationships.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to structure complex issues and translate them into clear action recommendations.
• Sovereign stakeholder management at the C-level, convincing communication, and strong negotiation and moderation skills.
• Entrepreneurial drive, personal responsibility, and implementation strength, combined with a professional demeanor and fluent German and good English skills.
