About the Client

Our client is a technological startup and media platform registered in Stockholm, Sweden. The organization is the world's largest media platform dedicated exclusively to climate change and action. It functions both as a feedback platform and as a social network. The company's main mission is to democratize knowledge about climate solutions, reduce the global environmental impact, and mobilize the global community for a future without fossil fuels. Instead of passively observing the climate crisis, the platform uses the power of social networks to unite people, calls leaders and companies to account, and strengthens demands for transparency and systemic change.

About the Project

The main product of the project is a platform feedback web application and related mobile systems that allow users to create environmental reviews, interact, and collaborate for free. Key technical and operational features of the project infrastructure:

• Green Infrastructure: Since 2018, the platform has been fully powered by renewable energy sources to minimize its digital carbon footprint.
• Environmentally Conscious Operations: In the broader context of the project's activities, special attention is paid to the reuse of IT equipment, minimizing travel, and prioritizing digital meetings.
• Tech Stack: The development includes a robust infrastructure supporting web and mobile applications, using Python for backend services, DevOps pipelines, React for the frontend, and React Native for cross-platform mobile development.

Responsibilities

• Requirement Engineering: Collecting, analyzing, and documenting comprehensive functional and non-functional requirements from stakeholders.
• User Stories: Writing clear, detailed User Stories, acceptance criteria, and use-case scenarios that developers can easily adopt.
• Scope Verification: Close collaboration with the Team Lead to verify technical constraints and ensure business logic aligns with system capabilities.
• Documentation Management: Maintaining a clean, organized, and up-to-date knowledge base or product backlog.

Requirements

• Communication: Fluent English at an upper-intermediate level for clear documentation and discussions with stakeholders.
• Style and Approach: Analytical, meticulous, and collaborative approach; structured thinking and ability to bring clarity to complex ideas.
• Experience: Solid experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or Product Ownership in web and mobile application ecosystems.
• Artifacts: Experience in creating wireframes, process flow diagrams, and detailed data mappings.
