Business Development Representative

Location: Boston, MA

As a Business Development Representative, you will be part of the sales team, working closely with marketing to develop new sales opportunities. The ideal candidate should be eager to advance in our organization, have keen business acumen, strong technical aptitude, and natural sales instincts. You should have the confidence, discipline, and drive to hunt for new customers.

Responsibilities

• Surface and develop qualified sales opportunities
• Work with inbound marketing to cultivate customer/prospect relationships
• Execute on outbound prospecting techniques and qualify leads to consistently hit and exceed monthly goals
• Log activity consistently and reliably in Salesforce.com
• Collaborate with the Account Executive team to develop territory and strengthen the pipeline

Requirements

• Ability to take direction, be coached, and mentored
• Desire to pursue sales as a career
• Demonstrated success interacting with people by phone, leading, persuading, and overcoming obstacles associated with prospecting
• Strong presence and interpersonal skills

Salary

The base salary range for this full-time position is $47,000 - $66,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The salary displayed reflects the range for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by state, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401K.
