About the Position
We are seeking a Category Manager for our outdoor clothing and equipment brand to develop and manage our private label portfolio. If you have experience working with suppliers from Asia, know import processes, and want to have a real impact on the product offering, we invite you to apply.

Responsibilities
- Managing the development and implementation process of products under private labels.
- Creating and developing product categories considering seasonality, market trends, and customer needs.
- Collaborating with manufacturers and suppliers from Europe and Asian countries.
- Coordinating the ordering, production, and delivery timelines.
- Managing communication with factories, negotiating cooperation terms, and building long-term business relationships.
- Overseeing import processes and product documentation.
- Monitoring product compliance with regulations, standards, and certification requirements in European markets.
- Working with laboratories, certification bodies, and logistics partners.
- Analyzing the market, competitor activities, and identifying new opportunities for the product offering.
- Close collaboration with purchasing, marketing, sales, e-commerce, and logistics departments.
- Participation in national and international industry trade shows and supplier visits.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a role related to product development, private labels, purchasing, or category management in the clothing industry.
- Experience with clothing, accessories, or sports/outdoor equipment products is highly desirable.
- Very good knowledge of import processes for products outside the European Union.
- Practical knowledge of certification, product safety, and legal requirements related to clothing and accessories.
- Experience in working with factories and suppliers from China and other Asian countries.
- Ability to plan collections and build a product offering based on market trends and customer needs.
- Very good knowledge of English, enabling fluent business communication in speech and writing.
- Willingness to participate in international trade shows and occasional business trips.
- Independence, good work organization, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
