About the Position
We are building an Unreal Engine application: a real-time MetaHuman person talks to players, replies with synthesized voice and lip-sync, and performs game-related actions. This role needs a character/facial specialization, not a VFX TA. You take a photorealistic face all the way to production quality and dress a character so it reads as alive at runtime.
Responsibilities
- Build game presenter on top of MetaHuman (including Mesh to MetaHuman)
- Handle groom (hair / brows / stubble) and tune clothing for motion
- Build the wardrobe / outfit-variant system for multiple game presenters
- Own look-dev and lighting for photorealism (Lumen); tune the facial rig (blendshapes / FACS / ARKit)
Requirements
- Strong portfolio of photorealistic characters / digital humans
- Maya, MetaHuman, ZBrush, Substance Painter / Designer
- Solid understanding of character rigging, skinning, deformation, and real-time constraints
Nice to Have
- Marvelous Designer, Chaos Cloth / cloth sim
- XGen / hair cards, photogrammetry / scan data, R3DS Wrap
- Python / MEL for tools scripting
