Responsibilities

• Terraform in a production enterprise environment:

  • Design of reusable modules
  • Remote state, locking, access control, and deployment across multiple environments, targeted apply

• Databricks:

  • Very good knowledge of the platform and its key concepts
  • Hands-on experience configuring workspaces, clusters, jobs, workflows, policies, and SQL warehouses
  • Experience with the Databricks Terraform Provider
  • Knowledge of Databricks Asset Bundles is a plus
  • Good understanding of the Databricks control plane and data plane architecture

• Governance and security:

  • Unity Catalog, metastore, catalogs, schemas, volumes, and permissions
  • Designing an access model for users, groups, service principals, and data domains
  • Lineage, audit logs, and data access control

• Azure enterprise infrastructure:

  • RBAC, managed identities, and service principals
  • VNet, subnets, NSGs, routing, and DNS
  • Private Link, private endpoints, VNet injection, and secure cluster connectivity
  • Isolation of Databricks workspaces and secure connectivity to ADLS Gen2, Key Vault, and other Azure services
  • Working with dependencies, configuration, logging, and error handling

• CI/CD and Git:

  • Pipelines for both Terraform and application code
  • Validation, testing, plan/apply workflow, and controlled releases

Requirements

• Must-have:

  • Hands-on experience managing large-scale infrastructure as code
  • 4+ years of experience, mid to senior level
  • Very good knowledge of Terraform and Databricks

• Nice-to-have:

  • Python
  • SQL
  • AWS
  • Experience in a regulated environment (bank, insurance)
  • Terraform Enterprise
  • ML productionization
  • Docker, Linux
