About the Role

As the Communications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and executing ISSP's communication strategy. You will be responsible for developing compelling narratives that showcase ISSP's unique value proposition and industry expertise. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced and innovative environment, working alongside a team of passionate cybersecurity professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive communication strategy that aligns with ISSP's overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify key messages and storylines that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Craft compelling content across various formats, including press releases, articles, blog posts, website content, and social media messaging.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and industry analysts to secure positive media coverage.
  • Proactively identify media opportunities and pitch story ideas that highlight ISSP's thought leadership and expertise.
  • Manage media inquiries and serve as a point of contact for media relations.
  • Develop and implement a social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication campaigns and make adjustments as needed.
  • Support the communication efforts of ISSP initiatives such as [Project Name], a project focused on [brief project description].

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience (at least 5 years) in communications and media relations, preferably within the cybersecurity industry.
  • Strong understanding of the ever-evolving media landscape and excellent writing and editing skills.
  • A passion for storytelling and the ability to translate complex technical information into clear and concise messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful communication strategies.
  • Experience in managing social media platforms and creating engaging content.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English and Ukrainian is a must.
