About the Position
EOS Data Analytics is the product company, with headquarters in the USA, California, and development centers in Ukraine - Kiev, Dnipro. The digital online platform offers simple and reliable tools for searching, processing, and analyzing large volumes of data from satellites - both free and high-resolution images as a reseller.
EOS Data Analytics is looking for a Computer Vision Engineer to work with satellite imagery analysis pipelines, multi-modal data fusion, and object detection systems for earth observation products.
Responsibilities
- Build, fine-tune, optimize, and deploy Object Detection and Segmentation models for satellite imagery analysis.
- Develop and improve multi-modal solutions combining optical, SAR, and other geospatial data sources.
- Research, evaluate, and adapt state-of-the-art Computer Vision and Geospatial AI models for business use cases.
- Design and maintain geospatial data processing pipelines.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and research teams to bring AI solutions into production.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Computer Vision and Deep Learning.
- 5+ years of Python development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV.
- Experience building Object Detection models (YOLO, DETR, Faster R-CNN, or similar architectures).
- Experience with Semantic and/or Instance Segmentation.
- Experience with CUDA and GPU optimization.
- Experience working with AWS (EC2, S3) and Docker.
- Strong statistical and analytical skills.
- Ability to independently research, prototype, and validate new approaches.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with satellite imagery, Earth Observation, or geospatial data.
- Hands-on experience with GDAL, Rasterio, GeoPandas, Shapely, or STAC.
- Experience with SAR imagery and multi-modal data fusion.
- Familiarity with geospatial foundation models such as Prithvi, SatMAE, TorchGeo, or SkySense.
- Experience with datasets such as DOTA, xView, SpaceNet, or SEN12MS.
- Experience with change detection, land-use/land-cover classification, or damage assessment.
- Familiarity with SageMaker, QGIS, or Vertex AI.
- Previous R&D experience and rapid prototyping mindset.
