DevOps Engineer

About the Position

We are a digital currency services company based in New York, revolutionizing post-trading processes. With several millions in funding and a strong focus on work-life balance, we are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Interface with internal cross-functional teams to ensure platform reliability and performance
• Own all technical issues from identification, to diagnosis, to resolution and communication
• Interface with external clients to address escalated customer issues and document troubleshooting steps
• Configuration management and systems deployment via Ansible and Docker
• Code deployment and scheduling via Jenkins
• Server monitoring and alerting via Sensu
• Application performance statistics and reporting via Grafana, InfluxDB, and EMR/Hive
• Service discovery and configuration management via Zookeeper
• Deploying distributed services using container orchestration tools
• Working with a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
• Reliable software releases through build, test, and deployment automation

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in:
  • Backend Server Support
  • SQL
  • AWS
  • Linux (Ubuntu)
  • Some knowledge in a variety of programming languages (Python, Ruby, JavaScript, etc.)
• Bonus points for:
  • Docker
  • Jenkins
  • Configuration Management (Puppet / Chef / Ansible)
  • Mesos
