About the Position
DevOps Solutions Engineer
Cognizant is seeking a DevOps Solutions Engineer in Halifax, NS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting application teams in all their DevOps needs and implementation. You will be working directly with the application teams to guide, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues in the CI/CD pipeline. You will also be involved with major migration initiatives, working directly with application teams.
Responsibilities
- Support application teams to migrate from Jenkins, RLM, or manual deployment to GitHub Actions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any DevOps-related issues.
- Create and debug CI/CD pipeline stages by writing various stages.
- Implement any automation or configuration needed to ensure successful integration.
- Write POM and settings from scratch and work with various code bases.
- Set up GitHub Actions and workflow details, execution, and runners.
Requirements
- 5+ years of CI/CD Pipeline Engineering.
- 4 to 6 years of experience with GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- 5+ years of experience with Maven Build Management.
- 5+ years of experience with Containerization and Kubernetes.
- 5 years of experience with Deployment Automation & Infrastructure as Code.

Work Model
This is a hybrid position requiring 4 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Halifax, NS.
