1st shift 6 am to 2pm

Position Summary

The Dimensional Coordinator supports Manufacturing by performing CMM programming & operation, fixture calibration & maintenance, certification & maintenance of all instruments, gauge layouts & organization, GR&R, MSA studies, SPC analysis, part layouts and systems support for QA and other department requirements.

Responsibilities

Program Blue Light Scanner & CMM (HEA Gantry) to accurately measure / scan components, parts, fixtures
Adhere to customer & TS16949 standards & methodologies
Complete fixture calibration, gauge R&R Studies, Correlation Studies, SPC Studies, Capability Studies, including reporting status on routine basis
Understand the requirements of MSA and ensure all requirements have been met
Certify all engineering changes and update fixture database and inspection programs
Create clear and concise technical reports for all functions as required
Inspect and measure parts for conformance with specific dimensions using precision measuring instruments
Comply with, support and model CBAM’s operational procedures/policies, Employee Handbook, and companies Employee’s Charter, Corporate Constitution, and Operational Principles
Promote open door policy and fair treatment
Participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities
Keep work area clean and organized at all times

Requirements

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Windows, databases, spreadsheets, word processing, AutoCAD, Mechanical Desktop, etc…
Post-secondary education in a technical field and a minimum of 3 years of related experience required (previous CMM programming and scanning experience is required as well)
Strong programming and operational background of DEA Delta HA CR overhead Gantry Co-ordinate Measuring System
Strong background and experience in Automotive Manufacturing, APQP, PPAP and Quality Assurance
Strong technical background and experience in metrology, Blue Prints, GD&T, SPC, GR&R, Check Fixtures and CAD
Previous experience in software such as Polyworks, Wave, Cognex Opti-Cell, Adobe Pro, CAD, etc…
Good reporting and computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, CAD, spreadsheets, word processing software, etc.)
Must possess good mathematical skills, experience in geometry and trigonometry
Strong organizational, planning, written, and verbal communication skills
Demonstrate a maturity of judgement, leadership skills, attention to detail and exceptional organizational, listening, communication and presentation skills in all aspects of the job function
Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment in order to meet customer requirements and with variable workloads
Must be able to interact effectively with other team members
Able to appreciate and maintain proper level of confidentiality, using discretion and tact
Understands and exhibits good 6s and housekeeping practices
Strong liaison, Supplier Quality and communication skills with both customer and supply base
Keeps all records in logical and easy to retrieve/find record keeping process
Strong organization skills with ability to schedule their own work to meet needs of their customers
Able to lift up to 40lbs without assistance
Able to maintain punctuality and good attendance records
Able to manage and schedule multiple priorities and meet deadlines
