About the Position

Veolia, a global leader in environmental services, is seeking a Directeur d'activité stockage F/H to manage waste storage and energy valorization activities across multiple industrial sites in France. This role is pivotal in driving the transformation of our waste treatment and valorization facilities, aligning with our commitment to ecological transition.

Responsibilities

• Manage the directors of Industrial Units to optimize the performance of installations and inputs, ensuring safety compliance.
• Maintain a trusting and lasting relationship with clients and stakeholders through service quality and perfect maintenance of entrusted installations.
• Manage safety on Industrial Units and the health of employees and contractors on site.
• Develop new projects in the fields of sorting, recycling, and energy valorization on the hub.
• Anticipate risks by ensuring the quality and monitoring of indicators (technical, financial, legal, contractual, client) and implementing preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory commitments.
• Manage tender renewals, contract negotiations, and work follow-up with dedicated services.
• Prepare budgets for Industrial Units with Operational Unit Directors, ensuring financial management, monitoring, and achieving the profit and loss account.
• Implement synergies between Industrial Units in technical, human, and organizational domains.
• Pilot, in liaison with the Human Resources department, the HR strategy and administrative and social management of the company.
• Develop a constructive relationship with staff representatives (CSE, negotiation of agreements, etc.).

Requirements

• Engineering degree or Bac +4/5 in an industrial technical field.
• At least 10 years of experience in management (multi-site environment) and leadership in an industrial sector (waste, thermal or mechanical processes, etc.).
• Ability to guarantee operational, budgetary, and financial performance.
• Solid knowledge of social dialogue.
• Curiosity and proactiveness combined with results orientation.
• Interpersonal skills and leadership.
• Team spirit.
• A professional level of English is required.
