Responsibilities

• You can rely on you by leading German and international real estate investors and fund managers, as you provide holistic and trustworthy support.
• You systematically develop existing customer relationships, generate new leads and cross-sell opportunities through targeted presentations, and successfully convert them into sustainable business relationships.
• You have experience in structuring and syndication of complex cross-border financings and are well-versed in project development financing.
• You implement time-critical business opportunities in a structured and detailed manner, coordinate product and lending experts, conduct negotiations on indicative term sheets, and manage the documentation and disbursement process.
• You continuously explore additional business potential across various product areas, such as Cash Management, Financial Markets, and Debt Capital Markets.
• You are independently responsible for the performance of your portfolio – with a clear focus on capital-efficient earnings growth and sustainable profitability.
• You develop and implement well-thought-out VCT / customer strategies and work closely with product departments to further expand sales, profitability, and product-side customer retention.
• You always act in compliance, ensure adherence to internal guidelines and regulations, and consistently live the ING Orange Code of Conduct.
• You also take responsibility in the day-to-day operations and are responsible for onboarding customers and maintaining customer data.
• You have comprehensive knowledge of the real estate industry, current trends, banking products, and current regulations, and engage in cross-sectional and international projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor / Master in (Real Estate) Economics / Finance, Management, Law, or similar.
• Long-standing professional experience and success in Real Estate Sector Coverage.
• Comprehensive market knowledge of the real estate sector and credit or capital market expertise.
• Customer-specific sector expertise and familiarity with relevant products.
• Ability to recognize and implement customer needs.
• Communication skills, especially in stakeholder coordination.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, high degree of self-motivation, and hands-on mentality.
• Team player, enthusiastic, innovative, and open-minded.
• Open to cultural diversity in an internationally oriented environment.
• Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
