About the Position

We are seeking an Operational Director for an international manufacturing company to manage key functions and oversee teams, processes, and results. The role combines operational management with team development, process optimization, and result accountability. The person in this position will work closely with the General Manager and will act as their substitute during their absence.

Type: On-site, full-time employment

Responsibilities

Managing areas of planning, purchasing, warehouse, logistics, logistics engineering, and order confirmation.
Developing teams and their leaders, and building a culture of responsibility, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Monitoring operational results, particularly costs, quality, timeliness, inventory, and productivity.
Streamlining processes and leading initiatives to increase organizational efficiency.
Supporting projects related to Lean, automation, digitalization, and plant development.
Being responsible for budgets in subordinate areas and taking actions based on KPIs and data.
Collaborating with the General Manager on decisions regarding the plant's operation and further development.
Ensuring workplace safety and compliance with applicable standards.

Requirements

Experience in managing operations and teams in an international manufacturing company.
Ability to successfully manage multiple related areas or teams simultaneously.
Experience in process optimization and practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma.
Good understanding of the impact of operational activities on costs, inventory, profitability, and company results.
Experience in working with budgets, KPIs, and making data-driven decisions.
Ability to develop teams, manage change, and build engagement.
Knowledge of ERP systems, very good knowledge of Excel, and experience with Power BI is a plus.
Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
Very good knowledge of the English language.
