About the Position

Dyrektorka / Dyrektor ds. Rozwoju Systemów Informatycznych (PZU Zdrowie)

We are seeking a Director of IT Systems Development for PZU Zdrowie to lead strategic IT initiatives and ensure high availability and security of IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for developing and implementing the strategy for IT systems development supporting the business goals of PZU Zdrowie
• Managing the development, maintenance, and optimization of IT systems used in operational and medical activities
• Supervising application architecture and directions of development of medical, corporate, and integration systems
• Initiating and implementing modern technological solutions supporting the digital transformation of the organization
• Ensuring high availability, performance, and security of IT systems in compliance with applicable regulations and information security standards
• Managing the IT project portfolio, including planning, budgeting, monitoring implementation, and evaluating business outcomes
• Collaborating with business units to identify needs, define requirements, and implement technological solutions
• Leading teams responsible for the development and maintenance of IT systems and supporting their competency development
• Building and maintaining relationships with technology partners, service providers, and software manufacturers
• Monitoring market trends and recommending innovative solutions to increase organizational efficiency
• Reporting to management on the progress of initiatives, risks, and key performance indicators

Requirements

• Higher education in computer science, software engineering, telecommunications, management, or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in IT, including at least 3 years in a managerial or director position
• Experience in managing the development and maintenance of complex IT systems
• Experience in leading digital transformation projects and implementing new technologies
• Practical knowledge of system architecture, application integration, and cloud environments
• Knowledge of information security, data protection, and regulatory requirements in the healthcare sector
• Ability to effectively manage teams, budgets, and collaborate with business stakeholders
• Strong analytical, strategic, and decision-making skills
• Highly developed communication and negotiation skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI solutions, process automation, and data analytics
• Experience in the healthcare or health insurance sector
• Certifications confirming competencies in project management, IT services, or information security (PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, TOGAF, ISO 27001, or related)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms
