Embedded Linux Engineer

About the Position

Commserve Technologies Inc is seeking an Embedded Linux Engineer with hands-on experience in using embedded Linux (Yocto/ OpenEmbedded or buildroot). The role involves developing and porting embedded Linux applications, custom device drivers, libraries, and more.

Responsibilities

• Develop & port embedded Linux applications, custom device drivers, libraries
• Configure, modify, and integrate the kernel and embedded boot loaders
• Experience in using U-Boot, Linux kernel configuration, and Device tree
• Experience in custom driver porting and applying patches to legacy packages
• Development and migration of existing systems to Yocto-based platforms
• Design and develop the automation to validate the builds in the CI/CD pipeline
• Maintain and support the Yocto build system in a CI/CD environment, including packaging and deployment of software images
• Experience in creating images for different hardware platforms
