About the Position

Engineer

Green Valley Landfill Limited (GVL), a joint venture with Veolia Hong Kong & Macau, manages the South East New Territories (SENT) Landfill and its extension. GVL focuses on sustainable waste management, converting landfill gas into electricity, fuel, and synthetic natural gas.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive engineering support for landfill construction, ensuring adherence to design specifications and technical standards.
• Coordinate and manage project scheduling, conformance testing, and site construction activities to ensure quality and timeline compliance.
• Advise and supervise the relevant site personnel and contractors in the technical engineering aspects of the construction activities in a manner demonstrating safety, environmental, and financial responsibility for the long-term operations of the facility.
• Perform ad hoc duties as required to support project success.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Civil or structural engineering or equivalent experience in construction project.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Holder of valid driving license (Class 1 and 2) & Construction Safety (Green Card) Certificate.
• Other qualifications relative to industrial field are preferred.
• Minimum 3 years or above project construction management or relevant experience.
• Responsible, outgoing, initiative, self-motivation, and able to work independently and under pressure.
• Proficient in MS Office / Google applications.
